Dr. VanAntwerp has over 13 different lasers to banish wrinkles, lines and other signs of aging and sun damage. Sun exposure, aging, and thinning collagen causes wrinkles. As collagen thins, skin loses its elasticity and droops. Laser treatment erases lined and saggy skin by deeply heating collagen. The heat causes collagen to thicken and regenerate resulting in a lovelier complexion and tightened skin.
The doctor custom designs laser treatment according to the specific needs of the patient. For example, A patient with wrinkles and skin discoloration would be treated with the Fraxel laser for wrinkle removal and Broad Band Light (BBL) to wipe out age spots and areas of discoloration. Customized laser medical care is a powerful anti-aging tool.
Customized care can be tailored according to time constraints. People desiring little or no down-time can be easily accommodated. Several of our laser programs cause little more than a day or two of redness. However, the results over time are beautiful!
