Erbium

The Erbium Laser is a new type of resurfacing laser that enables Dr. VanAntwerp to smooth fine lines and scars without causing heat damage to deeper layers of the skin. The use of the erbium laser reduces the prolonged redness often seen with resurfacing. Dr. VanAntwerp also uses the erbium laser to resurface the neck, preventing a line of demarcation between a newly resurfaced face and a sun-damaged neck.
